Full job description
Seeking a Computer Network Technician to produce drone light shows in technically challenging conditions and situations in Canada.
Intimate knowledge and extensive experience with LAN, Wifi, radio, and GPS wireless communication and equipment, as well as drone flight automation software and equipment is required.
Drone light shows are produced on weekdays, weekends, and on holidays, at night. The successful applicant must be available to work on any day or night in the year, must be willing to travel, put in physical labour, and must be able to pass a drug test where Cannabis has not been consumed within 30 days of a drone show production.

Job duties include;

Installation and maintenance of wireless network and software program paths in connection with drone shows created and produced by Employer for its clients.

Drone show site qualification work includes traveling to work sites with team members in advance of Employer’s drone shows to assess the wireless network capabilities and environmental suitability for Employer’s drone equipment and ability to pilot/fly basic automated test drone flights.

Drone show production, including traveling to/from the drone show site locations, drone equipment setup and site location preparation, operation and monitoring of drone network systems master consoles for drone show performance and site and network teardown following client drone shows.

Drone equipment maintenance, calibration, repair, and troubleshooting, as necessary and required to ensure optimal network, software and drone show performance and execution.

Wireless network setup and configuration support, wireless equipment configuration and maintenance of flight records and logs.

Attend and participate in weekly production meeting.

Problem solving potential drone show site locations, such as WiFi and LoRa setup.

Support Employer’s technical drone team in piloting software configuration.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $85,000.00 per year
Expected hours: 30 – 60 per week
